DELROY CHUCK, Q.C. (on leave, currently serving as Minister of Justice)
Delroy Chuck is the founding partner of Delroy Chuck & Company. He was admitted to practice in Jamaica in 1982. In 1973, he was awarded the Rhodes Scholarship and attended Oxford University (St. Catherine’s College) where he obtained his Bachelor of Arts (Jurisprudence) and Bachelor of Civil Law in 1975 and 1976 respectively. He was a Member of the Gray’s Inn, London from 1975-1976.
Delroy lectured at the Faculty of Law, University of the West Indies from 1976 to 1996. During that time, he obtained his Legal Education Certificate from the Norman Manley Law School in 1982. In 1985, he attained his Master of Arts (Oxon) and a few years later in 1987 established the law firm of Delroy Chuck & Company where he specialized in Criminal Litigation, Conveyancing and Wills, Probates & Estates.
In 2007, Delroy was appointed Speaker of the House of Representatives and remained in that post until 2011 when he was appointed Minister of Justice and went on leave. He was appointed Queen’s Counsel in 2011. He resumed his practice at the firm in December of 2011.
Delroy was once again appointed Minister of Justice in March 2016 and has been on leave from the firm since that time. He is the author of two books, "Should We Hang" and "Understanding Crime" and many published papers on law and crime. He is also the Member of Parliament for North East St. Andrew (1997 – present) and a member of the Jamaican Bar Association.

HELEN BIRCH
Helen was admitted to practice in Jamaica in 1988. She graduated from the University of the West Indies having obtained a Bachelor of Laws Degree with Honours in 1986 and then from the Norman Manley Law School in 1988 where she obtained a Legal Education Certificate. She worked as a Clerk of Court in the Resident Magistrate’s Court and the Court of Appeal Registry before joining the firm in 1988.
Helen's areas of specialty are Family Law – Divorces, Maintenance and Custody & Guardianship, Conveyancing, Personal Injury, and Wills, Probates & Estates. She has appeared in the Resident Magistrate’s Court, the Gun Court, the Supreme Court and the Court of Appeal. She is also a member of the Jamaican Bar Association.

CAROLYN CHUCK
Carolyn was admitted to practice in Jamaica in 2009. She graduated from the University of the West Indies having obtained a Bachelor of Laws Degree with Honours in 2007 and then from the Norman Manley Law School in 2009 where she obtained a Legal Education Certificate.
She began practising with Delroy Chuck & Company in November 2009 specializing in Conveyancing, Criminal Litigation, Wills, Probates & Estates, and Divorces. Carolyn has appeared in the Resident Magistrate’s Courts (now Parish Courts), the Gun Court, the Supreme Court and the Court of Appeal.
In 2013, Carolyn went on study leave to pursue her masters degree in Sydney, Australia. She graduated from the University of New South Wales in 2014 with a Master of Laws and was awarded certificates of outstanding achievement having obtained the highest grades in Strata and Community Title Law and Current Issues in Criminal Justice.
Carolyn resumed her practice at Delroy Chuck & Company in August 2014. She was made Managing Partner of the firm in March 2016. Carolyn is also a member of the Jamaican Bar Association and the Advocates Association.

KRISTINA M. CHUCK-SMITH
Kristina is the newest member of the firm. She was sworn in as an Attorney-at- Law in Tennessee in October of 2011, having received her Doctor of Jurisprudence in May 2011. Kristina also has a Bachelor's in Computer Engineering from Florida Institute of Technology and a Master's in Business Administration from Nova Southeastern University. She was a partner in the law firm of Cohen & Chuck-Smith, PLLC. Her areas of specialty were family law and probate law.
In 2015, Kristina returned to Jamaica to undertake the six-month programme at the Norman Manley Law School which she completed in March 2016 and obtained a Legal Education Certificate. She was called to the Jamaican Bar on July 21, 2016.
Kristina is also licensed to practice law in Tennessee, USA.
